Fence & Gate Repair in Broward County
Leaning posts, broken panels, sagging gates, broken latches and storm damage. We repair vinyl, wood, aluminum and chain link fences and gates across Broward County.
- Serving Broward County
- Homes & businesses

Most fence and gate problems don’t need a whole new fence. A post that has started to lean, a cracked vinyl panel, a gate that drags on the ground or won’t latch, a run of chain link flattened by a fallen branch: these can be repaired, and we repair them.
We fix vinyl, wood, aluminum and chain link fences and gates for homes and businesses across Broward County. Tell us what’s wrong, send a few photos if you can, and we’ll tell you whether it’s a repair or a replacement.
Fence repairs
- Leaning or broken posts, replaced and reset so the fence stands straight again
- Cracked, broken or loose panels and pickets, from a single panel to several sections
- Sagging or damaged rails
- Torn chain link mesh, bent top rails and leaning sections
- Rotten wood: posts, rails and pickets replaced
- Storm damage from high winds, falling trees and debris
Gate repairs
Gates are the part of a fence that moves, so they are usually the first part to need attention. We repair walk gates, double drive gates and rolling gates on all the fence types we work with.
- Sagging gates that drag on the ground or have dropped out of line with the latch
- Broken latches and hinges, replaced
- Bent or misaligned gate frames
- Damaged gate panels
- Pool gate hardware: self-closing hinges and self-latching latches, which Florida’s pool barrier law (Statute 515.29) requires on pool fence gates

Repair or replace?
If the damage is limited to a few posts, a few panels or a gate, a repair is usually the cheaper fix. If most of the posts are loose or rotten, or the fence is near the end of its life, a new fence can cost less over time than repairing it again and again. We’ll give you a straight answer once we’ve seen it, and if it is time for a new fence, we install vinyl, aluminum, wood and chain link.
After a storm
We repair and replace fences damaged by high winds, falling trees and debris. If you are making an insurance claim, photograph the damage from several angles before anything is moved or cleared.
Doing a small repair yourself?
Our sister company, The Chain LINK Store, is in the same building in Oakland Park and sells fence parts to homeowners and contractors: chain link fabric, posts, rails and fittings, gate hinges and latches, and vinyl panels and posts.
Fence and gate repair questions
Can you fix a gate that drags or won’t latch?
Usually, yes. A gate that drags or won’t latch has normally dropped on its hinges, or the post it hangs from has moved. The fix is new hinges or latch hardware, rehanging the gate, or replacing the post, and we’ll tell you which once we’ve seen it.
Can you match my existing vinyl fence?
Where the same style and color are still made, yes. On older fences an exact match isn’t always possible, and we’ll tell you before any work starts.
Do you repair pool fence gates?
Yes. We replace self-closing hinges and self-latching hardware on pool gates. Florida Statute 515.29 requires both on residential pool barriers.
How much does a fence repair cost?
It depends on the fence type, how much is damaged and how easy it is to reach. Call 954-234-2699 or email photos to info@browardcountyfence.com and we’ll quote.
